Meizu markets the M5, its first full 4G smartphone compatible with the last band it lacked: the 800 MHz. The Chinese brand offers this new model in 3 colors (blue, black and gold). It is offered from 169 euros for the 16 GB version.
Meizu finally offers a smartphone compatible with all 4G frequency bands used in France. It was time ! Indeed, since the discreet arrival of the brand three years ago, we have not stopped pointing the finger that the Meizu smartphones were not compatible with all the 4G bands of operators.
The mark had repeatedly indicated to us that it would resolve this incompatibility, and it is now done (with the exception of the 700 MHz band, which is still very little used). Meizu will thus be able to move to the top speed regarding its development on the French market.

It has an IPS screen of 5.2 inches, but the definition does not exceed 1280 x 720 pixels, for a resolution of 282 pixels per inch. It is covered with a 2.5D glass slab. At the interface level, we find the proprietary interface Flyme OS, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The smartphone is powered by a modest SoC MediaTek MT6750 with 2 GB of RAM in its 16 GB version, or 3 GB for the 32 GB version. A microSD port is also part of the game, Accommodate memory cards up to 128GB.
On the photo side, the Meizu M5 incorporates a 13 megapixel sensor with a f / 2.2 lens, a fast autofocus and a dual LED flash. A 5-megapixel photo sensor is also located at the front. All the essential features are present: burst mode, panorama mode, face tracking, beauty and GIF as well as a dozen filters.
